Floral Perfume Family

The Floral perfume family is one of the most popular categories in the world of fragrances. It is commonly found in women’s perfumes, including many world-famous scents. However, although floral notes are most popular in women’s perfumes, this does not mean they are absent in men’s fragrances. The floral perfume family can be divided into four subfamilies:

  • Fruity: These sweet and appetizing scents usually feature sweet fruits such as apple, peach, pear, and other fruits, adding a juicy and delightful aroma to the perfume.

  • Floral: This is like a scent that pierces straight into your senses, reminiscent of inhaling a bouquet of colorful flowers. Typical perfumes in this subfamily feature rose, lily, and jasmine as the core notes.

  • Soft Floral: These are lighter, softer floral scents compared to the Floral subfamily. They often have powdery and creamy undertones, creating a gentle, soothing fragrance. Common core notes include jasmine, iris, and musky elements.

  • Floral Oriental: Scents in this subfamily combine the sweetness of flowers with a touch of spice, resulting in a softer, more elegant aroma that evokes the feeling of Eastern countries. Many perfumes in this subfamily have hints of incense. Examples include perfumes featuring orange blossom or spicy notes.
